Summer 2010

So we havent done much this summer and i am getting to be horrible about having the camera with me. Here are some moments caught on camera

Emma in her first set of curlers. I was trying the look out for Emily's wedding. She hates when I am actually doing her hair but she leaves it alone once it is in.


EVERY single day Emma walks around the house in Every single pair of shoes I own.

We are SOOOOO happy that Auntie Em moved back to Dallas and spends lots of time playing with us

Its Texas so what else is there to do in the summer but SWIM!!! Which we do just about everyday. Emma's new favorite thing...fly back and forth from mom to dad.

Sterling has hurt his back pretty bad and had to spend 2 1/2 weeks not moving, not picking up Emma (which just about killed her), no working, and absolutely not working on cars (which just about killed him.)

So Emma and daddy found a new way to bond!!!

Emma has also started to retreat and WANT her binky all the time. She knows she can only have it in her bed. It was very quite one day and so when i went to go find her, this was her CREATIVE way of having her binky. I still can not figure out why her feet are in her box or why she picked the boopy to lay on. (the boppy was in the other room where i am getting things ready for the new baby.

Speaking of new baby we finally switched Emma to a big girl bed so we could put the crib in the nursery. It was a peice of cake getting it out of Emma's room....but not so easy getting it in. Lets just say that is is Sterling hiding behind the crib which is literally stuck. (Sterling was not happy i was crying I was laughing so hard and HAD to take this picture. Dont you know he is a handy man and can do anything. It only took me lifting up my end to unstick it, but he had to take it half apart to get it in the room. )
