Black Friday

I did it!!!! I got up at 4:15 was at target at 4:35 stood in a crowd that looked like this but I was in the first 1/2 closest to the door. Got in, got my stuff, and was in the car at 5:29. I even saw our bishop at Target.
I was home back in bed at 5:45!!1 I only missed an hour of sleep, got the stuff I wanted, I may be a black friday shopper. Maybe next year i will try more then one store.

(p.s. for those of you that asked...i saved my parents the hassel of having to find Sterling and mine's present from them and just went ahead and got it since they are out of town. and a christmas present for myself.
Sterling and me: a portable dvd player for the car that goes on the back of the headrest
for myself: a stand mixer -it was only $24 (it will by me more time for wanting a kitchenaid)

dont worry i told my dad he could just give me the money difference on the amount i saved him. its like a finders fee!)

Thanksgiving day

I went big this year! This is what the front of the house looked like

but...... this is all that was inside. (all the cars are our neighbors company. literally the whole street was lined with cars!)
I did go big and make my first thanksgiving. The turkey came out pretty good for my first time. But the stuffing was not the same as my moms. i think i have a few lessons to learn.

Why we LOVE Texas

The date: Novemeber 11, 2009
The time: 4pm
The place: The coolest park EVER!!! (Celebration park, Allen, Tx)

It is Mid-Novemeber it was above 70 degrees so after doing all our yard work we took Emma to the park. Sterling and I were in shorts and T-Shirts. It was a "Best Day Ever" feeling, and Emma found our shadows!!!

Then we played on the playground for 1 hour. Up the stairs, down the slide, up the stairs....and down the slide.

Then we went to swing and Emma decided to make funny faces everytime she came close to us.

(Notice all the teeth!!!)

I love Texas and even better i married a man who loves Texas too!! (oh yeah I am still picking roses off my bush-its november!!)

Halloween 2009

Halloween 2009 started off with a tri-ward playgroup party. Here is Emma who took the glory of being a unshoed Pebbles and ran on the church for hard wood gym floor for a good hour.

If she wasnt running she was climbing in and out of a nursery chair (you know the little tiny ones) she didnt care about the crafts i helped put together, just the chair!

On Sat. night we went to our wards trunk or treat and then off to my parents buildings trunk or treat.

Pumpkin Patch

At the pumpkin patch Emma got to:

Feed goats, sheep, a cow, and a longhorn (she was just giddy with all the animals and their tongues licking her)
