Easter pictures

Easter weekend was kinda bust at our house. I thought it was going to be the perfect weekend (since it is my favorite holiday) but it was just ok. We took Emma to a bluebonnet field and in my head i was going to have the cutest pictures EVER!!! Well it started like this. Ok she is smiling, but the wind is blowing and she is more involved with the flowers then with looking at me. So i tried to reposition myself on the ground so i would be closer to her.....

.....but while i was moving, the wind blow a flower and it touched her foot. So now she is afraid of the flowers. And the next two pictures are the best that i got. I am going to try again this week and we will see what happens.

As afraid as she is of the flowers, she was all to excited to play with the lady bugs.

Then Easter Sunday she missed her morning nap. She wasnt as bad as i thought she would be, but she was not about to just sit and let her mama take a picture. So, I figured that any picture in her dress would be ok, It turned out ok. (Warning, this dress is probably going to be used for her 1 year pictures, since i didnt get the cute easter picture i wanted.)

Our Adventures

I am off this week and I am determined to get things done. The most important on my list is the yard. It has been a thorn in my side since we moved in, and between work and the weather it has taken me almost 5 months to finish it. (pictures to come dont worry)

I am finally to the point of putting mulch down but i ran out. So yesturday when i had sterling to help me, i thought i had the perfect day planned. When Emma woke up from her morning nap we would go to Home Depot, get the rest of the mulch and then go down the highway to Costco and get what we needed from there and then home. We have a pretty big truck and i figured hey, we will load the back up with the mulch and then put the costco stuff on the floor inbetween the front seat and the bench. Ok well they have a car seat on sale at costco and so we decided to get it along with all of our other things that ended up being more then expected.

I would like to call these pictures: "Where's Emma????"

As you can see we really needed the car seat, Emma has seriously out grown the carrier and she is only 11 months old (today by the way).
So in doing all my yard work i ended up giving Emma her Easter present a little early. I needed to put her somewhere to do yard work and she ABSOLUTELY loves this wagon.
