My sister is Engaged!!!

Over Christmas break my middle sister informed us that she was dating a guy that she has known since she was 16 that she met at EFY. Then to make things better she informed us that he was coming after New Year's because they were planning on getting engaged.

His name is Michael Shaffer and he actually served his mission here in Dallas. He says he ate dinner at my parents house once, but they didnt know that they needed to remember him. What a small world it is.

He proposed on Jan. 10th at Muse in Provo. He is the singer of a band and he popped the question at the end of one of his songs. He actually invited all of Emily's friends and her family to come watch. Whats even better is that she didnt even notice that most of the people in the audience were there for her. OOOOOH!!! how sweet!!

ITs a ....

GIRL!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah! We are both so excited even though I know that STerling is freaking out a little inside. He is uneasy about having another girl in his life.

I could not be more excited, but I think I am still just trying to get use to the whole idea.
