Emma's New toy

Emma loves this little bubble car (thats what we call it at our house). In and out all day long. Now if she can only learn to not just push backwards with her feet.
She even has to sit in it to watch her cartoons. So she gets in and out of the car all day while watching little einstiens all day.

Yup, that is her baby in the back seat.

And the following for everyones addventure is sterling pushing emma around our house in the car. Please dont mind my voice, or my laughing.

Going bonkers

For those of you that live close by you know how addicted and in love I am with "Going Bonkers". Those that are not, It is an indoor jungle gym. It is two stories and has these slides that you climb up to. It is even sturdy enough to handle Sterling. Emma just goes crazy in the car when we pull up to it. (and now that i am talking about it we may have to go tonight!)
Last week we went for one of our friends birthday parties. Daddy really was happy and excited and so was Emma but neither of them put on a good face. (Emma is mad that her dad made her stop to take a picture)

The summer is over

I just realized that is has been since June since I have put up pictures of Emma. I am sorry!!!!

Emma's favorite thing is to play with her Daddy. She tackles him, lays on him, jumps on him, I am usually laughing to hard to actually get the playing on camera but here is a picture of her doing what he is doing....playing with the remote.

Emma also loves to play in the laundry baskets. Sterling pulls her around it.

Emma learned to climb this summer. It is totally my fault and i take full responsibility because I take her to the mall or climbing places or the park every week if not several times a week.

She even learned to climb up on the furniture. This is the table behind the couch...it has a ledge that is perfect baby climbing height (luckily after one time out visit she hasnt ever tried this again!!!)
Emma has also started climbing up into the kitchen chairs and then climbing into her high chair. Their will never be a picture of this because i am always running to stop her or catch her and never for the camera.


On a side note.... I was at the fancy shmancy mall letting Emma play one day and when i came out to get in the car and go home guess what i saw????
Yup...that is a Burberry VW bug. and please note that the liscence plate says giglez... I couldnt stop laughing at this car and all my mom could say is "I want one!"

BYU vs OU

My Uncle Chuck and his daughter Candace who married my friend Jarred all came in town for the BYU game. Emily and the new boyfriend Adam were also at the game but they got standing room only seats.
This picture is the view from the standing room only seats that Emily and Adam had. We switched them half way thru the 3rd quarter so we could be closer to the door so we could leave ASAP to get home to the babysitter who could no put Emma to bed.

We were just about to leave the Cowboys stadium parking lot when we looked back and you could still see the huge screen. I tried to take a picture with sterling in it to get a good measurement of the thing, but you cant see the screen from the camera on my phone.

We had a blast and could not be happier that BYU won. It made paying for a babysitter and parking worth it!!! Go Cougs!!!

A happy ending to a tragic week

Last Tues. Sterling found out that at 6am Mon. they were coming to rescan his inventory (a kind of reassurance that nothing else is missing after they fired the guy that guy that stole everything).

So he was at work from thurs thru mon from 5am to anywhere from 6pm to 9pm). To add to that on thurs morning when he was leaving (at 5am) he told me goodbye, i heard the garage door go up, and then i hear a thud!!! I decided to just lay there for a minute and see what came next. Sterling came back in to tell me that the garage door had buckled inbetween two panels and it had ripped all the screws out on the roller. Thus....no garage door.

Luckily on Friday Sterling found someone that would sell us JUST the garage door for a pretty cheap price and they delivered it in 1 hr. Fabulous, we think we are doing ok, sterling is gone alot, but after monday everything will be fine, he can put up the new door.

Well, It was also my weekend to work and I borrowed a Michael Jackson Number One Hits CD. from my friend at work so i can burn it to my ipod. Well it was late going home on sat. night and i knew sterling was asleep so i couldnt call and talk to him, so i decided to put the cd in my cd player. It went in.....and wouldnt play and wouldnt come out, NOTHING.

I decided i would just get online and try to buy the cd. Yep, still sold out everywhere!! I would have had to buy her 3 cd's to make up for all the songs that were on the one cd. My only option was to pack Emma up and go to Sterlings work and have him take out my radio (i have a built in 6 cd changer) and then take apart the cd player to get out the cd. Ok, but remember he is at work and has to help customer so this takes over 1 hr. and we are at a car parts store, not fun for mommy or baby.

To make this long story short, CD recovered, radio put back (no cd player though), inventory went great and Sterling didnt lose his job, and the following is Sterling dancing to Michael Jackson while putting up the new garage door, because who can not get up and dance to Michael Jackson.

Emma's favorite things

Before Auntie Em moved out, Emma use to LOVE to go in her room and get into all of her purses

Emma's newest trick is to go into rooms, shut the door completly, scream at the top of her lungs, and then when you come open the door, give you her biggest smile!!!

Unroll the toliet paper and then pull on the empty roll with all of her might until the spring comes loose and she can wear the cardboard as a braclet.

and of course the number one thing is to open the dryer and pull all the clothes out and carry them throughout the house. (if only she could fold!!!)

Las Vegas

So a whole week ago (i am becoming a horrible blogger) we got back from las vegas. Sterlings little brother (he is single!!) took some amazing pictures and i just wanted to share.

This is Emma playing with her new choochoo train her Grandma got her. All she wanted to do was STAND on the seat.
This is one of my favorite pictures. It really captures her everyday just hanging out, i am just a happy kid face.

One day we were bored and Emma needed to let out some energy so we took her to a park. Luckily for Emma her Uncle Steven took her down the slide (he is single also!!!!) He and Emma love each other to death, although she did NOT love the slide.

At the same park the had a spray park, so we let Emma just walk around in and she could not have been happier.
I love this picture it shows that she just loves the water and is not afraid to get in and get wet.

(Please notice the cute girl behind Emma....she was more then double the size of Emma (who is in the 90th % for her height. I asked that little girls mom how old she was because she was really cute and wanted to be friends with emma.......You will never guess she turned 2 the day before this picture!!!!!)
